Managing your subscription

View your plan

Go to Settings > Billing > Subscription to see your tier, billing date, and usage.

Upgrade

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Upgrade Plan
  3. Select your new tier
  4. Confirm upgrade

You get immediate access to the higher tier with a prorated charge for the remaining days in your current billing period.

Downgrade

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select the lower tier
  4. Confirm downgrade

The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your current features until then.

Cancel

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm cancellation

Access continues until the end of your billing period. Your data is retained for 90 days, and you can reactivate anytime.

Payment methods

Accepted cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover

Add a payment method

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Payment Methods
  2. Click Add Payment Method
  3. Enter card details
  4. Click Save

Update or remove

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Payment Methods
  2. Click the menu icon next to a card
  3. Select Make Default or Remove

Failed payments

If a payment fails, you receive an email notification immediately. Domavia retries automatically after 3 days and again after 7 days. After 3 failures, your subscription is suspended.

To fix a failed payment:

  1. Update your payment method
  2. Click Retry Payment

Invoices

Go to Settings > Billing > Invoices to view past invoices. Each invoice includes:

  • Invoice number and date
  • Amount charged
  • Payment status
  • PDF download link

Usage and limits

Monitor usage

Go to Settings > Billing > Usage to track your API requests, AI operations, document storage, and webhook deliveries in real time.

Usage alerts

Set up alerts at 80% and 95% usage thresholds in Settings > Billing > Alerts. Choose email or in-app notifications.

At the limit

When you hit your plan limit:

  • API requests return 429 (rate limited)
  • A prompt to upgrade appears
  • No overage charges -- usage resets at the next window

Billing information

Update billing address

Go to Settings > Billing > Billing Information to update your address. This determines tax calculation.

Tax information

For business accounts, enter your VAT/Tax ID and upload any exemption certificates in Settings > Billing > Tax Information.

Refunds

  • First month: Full refund within 14 days
  • Subsequent months: Cancel to stop future charges (no partial refunds)
  • Annual plans: Prorated refund within 30 days

To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email, reason, and invoice number.

Discounts

  • Annual plans: 2 months free (pay for 10 months)
  • Non-profits: 50% off (verification required)
  • Students: 50% off (verification required)
  • Startups: Custom pricing for accelerator programs
