Manage your Domavia account with secure authentication, profile settings, and account recovery options.
Getting started
Creating your account
Domavia offers secure authentication through trusted providers like Google and GitHub, as well as traditional email and password registration.

Visit the Registration Page
- Go to the registration page
- Or click "Sign Up" from any page

Choose Your Sign-In Method
- Sign in with Google - Use your Google account
- Sign in with GitHub - Use your GitHub account
- Or, sign up using your email and a secure password.

Authorize Domavia or Verify Your Email
- If using a provider, you'll be redirected to authorize Domavia.
- If using email, you'll receive a verification link.

Complete Your Profile
- Your name and email are automatically imported if using a provider.
- Add your preferences and settings
- Upload a profile picture (optional)
- Set your notification preferences
Why we recommend passwordless
While we offer password-based login, we recommend using a provider for better security:
- No passwords to remember - Use accounts you already have
- No password resets - Never worry about forgotten passwords
- Better security - Use Google/GitHub's built-in security features
- Faster sign-in - One click to authenticate
Logging in
Standard login

Go to the Login Page
- Visit the login page
- Or click "Sign In" from any page

Choose Your Sign-In Method
- Click "Sign in with Google", "Sign in with GitHub", or your preferred provider.
- Or, enter your email and password.

Authenticate with Your Provider
- Sign in to your Google/GitHub/Apple account if not already signed in
- Authorize Domavia to access your basic profile information

Stay Signed In (Optional)
- Your session will remain active for 24 hours of inactivity
- Use only on personal, secure devices
Can't access your account?
If you're having trouble signing in:

Verify Your Provider Account
- Make sure you can sign in to your Google/GitHub account directly
- Reset your provider password if needed (at google.com or github.com)

Check Your Email
- Ensure you're using the same provider account you registered with
- Look for any security notifications from your provider

Contact Support
- If you still can't access your account, email support@domavia.app
- Include the email address associated with your account
Managing your profile
Updating personal information

Go to Account Settings
- Click your profile picture in the top right
- Select "Account Settings"

Edit Your Profile
- Name: Update your display name
- Email: Change your email address (requires verification)
- Profile Picture: Upload a new photo

Save Changes
- Click "Save" to update your information
- You'll see a confirmation message
Changing your sign-in provider
If you want to use a different provider (e.g., switch from Google to GitHub):

Navigate to Security Settings
- Go to Account Settings
- Click the "Security" tab

Link Additional Providers
- Click "Add Sign-In Method"
- Choose the provider you want to add
- Authorize the connection

Remove Old Providers (Optional)
- You can keep multiple providers linked
- Or remove providers you no longer want to use
- At least one provider must remain linked
Email verification
When you change your email address:

Verification Email Sent
- Check your new email address
- Look for a verification message from Domavia

Click Verification Link
- The link will confirm your new email
- Your account will be updated automatically

Sign In Again
- Use your new email address to log in
- Your old email will no longer work
Account security
Two-factor authentication
Your account security is managed by your chosen provider (Google, GitHub, etc.). To enable two-factor authentication:

Enable 2FA on Your Provider
- Go to your Google/GitHub security settings
- Enable two-factor authentication there
- This automatically protects your Domavia account

Security best practices
Keep Your Account Safe:
- Secure your provider account - Your Google/GitHub security protects Domavia
- Enable 2FA on your provider - Add an extra layer of security
- Don't share your login credentials with anyone
- Log out when using shared or public computers
- Keep your email secure - it's used for account recovery
- Be cautious of phishing emails - Domavia does not ask for your provider password
Secure Browsing:
- Always look for "https://" in the address bar
- Be suspicious of unexpected emails asking you to log in
- Report suspicious activity to our support team
Recognizing legitimate emails
Domavia will only send emails from these domains:
@domavia.app[email protected][email protected]
We will never:
- Ask for your provider password via email
- Request you to sign in through email links
- Include suspicious links or attachments
Logging out
Standard logout

Click Your Profile
- Click your profile picture or name in the top right

Select "Sign Out"
- Your session will end immediately
- You'll be redirected to the home page
Automatic logout
Your session will automatically end after:
- 24 hours of inactivity
- 7 days if you checked "Remember me"
- When you close your browser (if you didn't check "Remember me")
Sign out everywhere
To sign out of all devices:
- Go to Security Settings
- Click "Sign Out All Devices"
- Confirm the action
This is useful if:
- You lost a device
- You think someone else accessed your account
- You want to reset all active sessions
Account recovery
If you can't access your email
Contact our support team if you:
- No longer have access to your registered email
- Need to change your email but can't verify it
- Are having trouble with account recovery
Account deletion
To delete your account:

Go to Account Settings > Danger Zone
- You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from your account settings.

Contact Support (Alternative)
- If you have trouble with the self-serve option, email us at support@domavia.app
- Include your account email and reason for deletion

Identity Verification
- For security, we may need to verify your identity before proceeding with deletion.

Data Removal
- Your account and data will be permanently deleted.
- This action cannot be undone.
Before deleting your account:
- Export any data you want to keep
- Cancel any active subscriptions
- Note that deletion is permanent and irreversible
Mobile app authentication
Signing in on mobile
The mobile app uses the same credentials as the website:

Download the App
- Available on iOS App Store and Google Play Store

Sign In
- Use your same email and password
- Enable biometric login if available (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint)

Stay Signed In
- The app will keep you logged in securely
- You can sign out from the app settings
Biometric authentication
If your device supports it:

Enable in Settings
- Go to app settings
- Turn on "Biometric Login"

Set Up Your Biometric
- Follow your device's setup process
- Your password is still required occasionally for security
Troubleshooting
Common login issues
"Authentication failed"
- Make sure you can sign in to your provider account directly
- Try a different browser or clear your cache
- Contact support if the issue persists
"Provider authentication failed"
- Verify you can sign in to your provider directly
- Check if your provider account is locked or suspended
- Try using a different provider if you have multiple linked
Browser issues
Can't log in on your browser?
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Disable browser extensions temporarily
- Try using an incognito/private browsing window
- Update your browser to the latest version
